Looking without signing in

Opening a page without an account never identifies you. We count the visit and where it came from (for example Instagram or a QR code). Your IP address is only used, hashed, to stop abuse, and is not stored.

Unlocking a page

When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your name, email and profile photo from them. When you unlock a page, its owner sees your name and photo and when you looked.

Owners on Scuro+ may also see how long you stayed, which photos you opened and where you came from. Nothing else is shared, and we never post anywhere.

Your page

Your photos are stored privately and are only shown to people who unlocked your page. Before that, visitors see a blurred placeholder computed from each photo, which cannot be turned back into it.

Measurement

We use product analytics without cookies and without names or other people's usernames, and error reports to fix crashes.

Your choices

Download your data or delete your account in the app at any time. For anything else write to support@scuro.me.
